Dear Johnson Family Medical Patients:
This is Katherine Johnson from Johnson Family Medical. This message is to update you on Johnson Family Medical’s COVID-19 Protocol.
Due to the ever-changing information available to us at this time we will not be able to see patients with a cough/fever/respiratory complaints, patients who have traveled in the last 21 days, or patients who have been exposed to a COVID19 patient. If you meet any of the above criteria, please call the office to reschedule your appointment to a Telehealth appointment. If you are in respiratory distress, please go to the nearest ER.
If you are mildly ill and seeking testing, please contact our office for a Telehealth visit as we can send a lab tech to test you at home, DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC FOR TESTING. We have the ability test for COVID19 antibodies; however, this is not for presently ill patients. If you believe you have recovered from COVID19, please schedule a Telehealth appointment so that your blood test can be ordered at a Quest location. Turnaround is presently two days.
When you arrive at the clinic, you will be asked to complete forms or wait in your car until we are ready to room you. Please bring your own pen to complete your paperwork. This allows for you to have less time in the waiting room and less exposure to others. We will call you so you may enter and be roomed quickly for your appointment.
We are requesting all patients wear a mask for your appointments as recommended by the Texas Medical Board.
As of 5/5, we will only be scheduling neurotoxins as Aesthetic Procedures with patients who complete a symptom questionnaire and sign consent that they are seeking an elective procedure.
We will waive our cancellation fee so long as contact is made, no-shows will still require a no-show fee.
Our goal is to continue to provide the best patient care possible, while also reducing patient and staff exposure.
Above all else: Be kind to one another. Slow down. Give thanks– we are thankful for YOU. We are in this TOGETHER and we WILL endure. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
