How does a Lip Flip work?
The Lip Flip in one of our comfortable procedure rooms at Johnson Family Medical’s Frisco location and typically takes about 30 – 60 minutes to complete. Once our certified aesthetic nurse injector has walked you through the paperwork, she will clean your upper lip and prepare for the treatment. Units of Neurotoxin (Botox or Dysport) will be injected into your upper lip, causing it to slightly relax and rest lower on the mouth. This new placement is slightly turned up, causing the lip to appear fuller. The neurotoxin requires 7-10 days to “settle in” and after that period the patient will begin to see results.
